The ACEM Virtual ASM has now concluded. Thank you to everyone who participated.
Access information has now been sent to all registered delegates. If you have not received this information, please contact Encanta Event Management on email@example.com.
Please follow the below steps before Tuesday to ensure a seamless login process:
1. Check your computer/laptop to ensure that Google Chrome is the browser being used, and Windows 10 is installed. Windows 7 is not supported by the virtual platform. We recommend Windows 10 as it has compatibility for better audio and video accessibility.
2. Run a connectivity test using the link https://networktest.twilio.com/. Further information about this test is provided below.
3. If there are no connectivity issues, login to the virtual platform using the access details provided in the email from Encanta Event Management. We recommend you do this the day before the ASM commences.
ASM SMARTPHONE APP
A smartphone app is available for use during the ACEM Virtual ASM. The app is not connected to the virtual platform, however it can be used to view the ASM program, speaker bios, exhibitor profiles and more.
The app can be downloaded from the iTunes store for your iPhone and iPad or from the Google Play Store from your Android device – you will need to search for “Events by Encanta” in the store, and download the Events by Encanta app. Once downloaded, please open the Events by Encanta app, select ‘Search Events’ and then click on the ‘Have an event code?’ link. If you have not received the event code, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
WELCOME TO THE ACEM VIRTUAL ASM 2020
The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine Board have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and due to ongoing risks, travel and gathering restrictions, a decision has been made to replace the traditional ASM with an inaugural Virtual ASM!
The Virtual ASM format will provide members, trainees, and delegates from around the world an exciting opportunity to share educational and scientific content, without the need to meet face-to-face, and from the comfort of your own home. A highly interactive program is currently being developed to include engaging keynote presentations and panel sessions, with topical content and networking opportunities, showcasing both national and international presenters.
The theme of the ACEM Virtual ASM is “No Going Back – an opportunity to redefine the role of emergency departments”. No going back is about redesigning our acute health system based on necessities and learnings from the pandemic.
